My Top 5 Sweet Keto Recipes

I have never been known for being much of a domestic goddess, but doing keto has definitely brought out the baker in me! There is nothing like a sweet low-carb treat to keep me moving forward with this lifestyle. For a lot of people starting keto they can be overwhelmed with sugar cravings and I see these recipes as training wheels to ease you into the ketogenic diet.

For me to even try a recipe it needs to fit the following criteria:

1. Easy and quick to make – I have a 3 month old baby and 3 year old toddler so I have about 2.5 spare seconds a day where I’m not dealing with one of them!

2. No fancy special ingredients that I have to order from the other side of the world.

There are so many amazing websites out there with so many amazing sweet keto recipes and I have barely scratched the surface of what it out there. To get you started with some inspiration, here are my top 5 favourite recipes with links to the creators’ websites, in no particular order.

These cookies are soft, melt in the mouth and delicious. They are also super easy to make and foolproof. Your only issue will be resisting eating the whole batch at once!

2. Have Butter Will Travel – Keto Granola

When I was pregnant I used to have this granola every morning for breakfast with some full fat Greek yogurt and it really set me up for the day. Then I made the mistake of giving some to my husband and now a full batch will get demolished within a few days! Sometimes on keto I really miss a little crunch and this definitely hits the spot. Be careful as it is very easy to overeat this yummy granola!


3. Chocolate Covered Katie – Peanut Butter Fat Bombs

I am not even a huge peanut butter fan in general (peanut butter on toast just sounds like the worst thing in the world to me) but these are absolutely amazing. The texture and mouth feel is just delicious and I struggle to stop at 2!

I discovered this recipe while searching for something yummy to do with some spare egg whites and was not disappointed! They are exactly like the real thing and the perfect bite sized snack with an afternoon coffee.

5. Gnom Gnom – Suuuper Fudgy Paleo & Keto Brownies

I’m pretty sure I made these on a weekly basis while I was pregnant! A good tip is to cook for less time than the recipe suggests and let them cool in the brownie pan to make sure the inside is all gooey and moist. I’ve also been known to whip up a batch of keto chocolate ganache to ice these too!
